About Christopher Asandra
Christopher Asandra is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City. While a student, Dr. Asandra studied liberal arts and medicine in a six-year combined degree program that provided him with his bachelor's and medical degrees. Christopher Asandra was recognized for his academic excellence while working towards his degrees, earning a SAEM Award for Excellence. Christopher Asandra also received class honors at the University of Missouri at Kansas City and was the Rush Chair for Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. Upon completion of his undergraduate and graduate studies Dr. Asandra performed his residency in emergency medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. Christopher Asandra today works in the Chicago, Illinois and Milwaukee, Wisconsin areas. In his current position as an emergency room physician with the Emergency Medicine Specialists organization Dr. Asandra attends to all manner of incoming patients, treating them appropriately and efficiently. Additionally, Dr. Asandra is an emergency medicine physician with Alexian Brothers Medical Center, St. Francis Hospital, and the Franklin Hospital. On the entrepreneurial level, Dr. Christopher Asandra is the Founder and CEO of Emergency Medicine Innovations LLC. Emergency Medicine Innovations LLC specializes in locum opportunities for emergency medicine doctors, providing medical help where it is needed.
Aside from medicine, Christopher Asandra maintains keen interests in personal fitness and the piano. To those ends, Dr. Asandra is a concert-level pianist and professional fitness trainer. These activities help Dr. Asandra fuse passion with beauty, something that he feels is important as part of work/life balance.
